What do you think of my neural style transfer of my nephew's photo? I used the Mona Lisa as the styling image.

I've just started playing around with deep generative models and NST really caught my attention. It is basically using a deep convolutional network such as VGG19 and setting it to apply the "style" of an image to another. In this case, the former is the Mona Lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci and the latter is a photo of my nephew wearing a headset ( :D )!

If you are interested in this, you should really check out TensorFlow's tutorial on generative models here. You'll have to have a little background on deep learning, but there's nothing more you can't handle there. Just the approach that has been proposed in the original paper and what methods can be implemented. I was reading the original paper and I thought I could give it a try and found the tutorial online and started implementing it in Google Colab.
